Caregiver / Home Care Aide – Contra Costa

About the role

Help our clients live safely and comfortably at home. You’ll provide personal care, prepare meals, do light housekeeping, run errands, give medication reminders and offer friendly companionship, following a written care plan.

What you’ll do

• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Prepare meals and help with eating
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Rides to appointments and errands
• Companionship, conversation and activities
• Report any changes to our office

What you need

• Registered California Home Care Aide, or willing to register (we can help)
• Able to pass the state-required fingerprint background check (Live Scan) and TB test
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Patient, kind and dependable, with good communication skills
• Caregiving experience preferred, including with family members; we welcome new caregivers too
