Weekend & Overnight Caregiver – East Bay
- Location: Newark, Fremont, Union City, Hayward, Oakland, Berkeley, Pleasanton, Livermore
- Pay: $20–$24 per hour
- Schedule: Saturdays, Sundays and overnight shifts
About the role
Families often need help on weekends and through the night. You’ll make sure our clients are safe, comfortable and cared for while their family rests.
What you’ll do
- Help with evening and morning routines, bathing and dressing
- Help clients get to the bathroom safely during the night
- Prepare meals and snacks; give medication reminders
- Watch for falls and changes in health, and report them to our office
- Provide calm, reassuring company
What you need
- Registered California Home Care Aide, or willing to register (we can help)
- Able to pass the state-required fingerprint background check (Live Scan) and TB test
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Patient, kind and dependable, with good communication skills
- Comfortable staying awake and alert on overnight shifts
